• No income generating work (excluding fundraisers, which are limited to support raising and not working for an employer or establishing a business).

TYPE II

• Cannot work or perform beyond the Law of the land in which YWAM Juba operates.
— ‘Law of the Land’ includes legal necessities for each State, City, Town, Village, and Chiefdom to be taken in consideration before any action, travel, or ministry is taken, enacted, or performed.
— ‘Law of the Land’ includes paying respect to the Elders, Chiefs, and authority figures, and includes paying respect to the different cultures and languages of the parties involved; however, not above Kingdom Culture or the culture or way of living that God (Almighty YHWH) has called us to live in (which shall be enacted in love and peace, and with no intent of disrespect, malice, misfortune or violence).

• Not allowed to violate the terms and conditions listed in the signed Memorandum of Understanding, which is the contract that all YWAM Juba Staff are required to sign.

• Not allowed to operate with other organisations (including churches) as “YWAM Juba” or in association with “YWAM Juba” without permission from the Base Leadership.

• Not allowed to be associated with another organisation (Churches are exempted) that takes or consumes more than 10% of their work time with YWAM Juba on work days [work time in YWAM Juba is at an average of 8 Hours; from (work days) Monday to Friday, and occasional weekends based on guest length of stay]; however, unless with permission from the Base Leadership.

• Not above being in the same room with a child alone, and must have another adult (at least 2 adults in the same room as the child). This is recognised as part of YWAM International’s Rule and Regulation for children as part of its “Child Protection Policies”.

• Not allowed to incite violence or harm against another individual, either within YWAM Juba or other individuals; however, probable only for self-defence in a matter of life or death projected to them and not from their own direct initiation.
